Apple’s iPhone Air Pre-Orders in China to Begin Oct. 17
Apple's latest iPhone Air model will be available for pre-order in China starting October 17, marking a significant expansion for the tech giant in one of its most critical markets. The device, priced from 7,999 yuan ($1,121.50), features Apple’s A19 Pro chip, titanium design, and advanced AI capabilities.
Approval from China’s major telecom operators—China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom—enables eSIM functionality, a first for iPhone models in the region. CEO Tim Cook announced the news via Weibo during his Shanghai visit, signaling Apple’s continued focus on Chinese consumers.
